Two Days to Make Real Progress on Your Photos

September 11–12, 2026
Attend on Zoom or In Person at Pixologie in Greenfield, Wisconsin

You’ve been meaning to organize your photos.

Maybe they’re scattered across your phone, computer, external hard drives, boxes, albums—or all of the above. You know you want to get them organized and protected, but figuring out where to start and finding the time to actually do it can be the hardest part.

That’s why we love hosting a Save Your Photos Bootcamp during Save Your Photos Month!

Join Mollie Bartelt of Pixologie/The Pix Plan and Ann, The Photo Solutions Guru for a hands-on photo organizing experience designed to help you stop thinking about your photo project and start making real progress.

This isn’t two days of sitting and listening. You’ll be working on your own photos, asking questions, learning proven techniques, and getting help when you need it.

Your Bootcamp Experience

We’re starting before Bootcamp weekend with two Prepare Sessions so you can arrive ready to work. We'll be sure you have what you need to get the most out of this Bootcamp. Attend one or both or watch the recordings.

What Could You Accomplish?

Everyone’s photo collection is different, so your project will be personalized to your photos and your goals.

During Bootcamp, you might:

  • Create a plan for tackling an overwhelming photo collection
  • Organize boxes or bins of printed photos
  • Remove photos from old albums and prepare them for scanning
  • Sort photos by family, decade, year, event, or another system that works for you
  • Organize digital photos into a manageable folder structure
  • Gather photos scattered across computers, phones, drives, and other devices
  • Identify and reduce duplicate or unwanted photos
  • Develop a plan for scanning your print photo collection
  • Work on preserving and backing up your most important photos
  • Create a system you can continue using after Bootcamp
  • Finally finish—or make significant progress on—a photo project you’ve been putting off

You don't have to finish your entire photo collection in one weekend.

The goal is to know what to do, learn how to do it, and have dedicated time to get it done.
